“Flowers In Her Hair” Main Street Mural

For Giving Gifts & Co.
in partnership with the City of Vancouver’s Integrated Graffiti Management Program

October 2015

“Flowers In Her Hair” is an ode to everyone out there with dreams, passion, and creativity. The little girl represents the epitome of a dreamer – someone who aspires for greater things, and inspires others while doing so. The flowers are a flourishing tapestry of art, growth, and new ideas. It is a call to all creatives, to unite in community, spread positivity, and add COLOUR to our world. This painting is also for those who were once children, and wish to be, once more. We can all learn something from a child’s innocence, hopeful nature, and endless sense of adventure. Who knows what we could accomplish, if we all had a few more flowers in our hair?

MURAL WORK (2016-2017)

“CULTIVATE LOVE” MURAL

For Baptist Housing / Grandview Towers
1425 East 3rd Ave. Vancouver, BC
May 2016

This project was a collaboration between myself and artists Janelle Anakotta and Broderick Wong. We were asked to create a design that would brighten up a 7x20ft wall in the Grandview Towers parkade. The phrase “Cultivate Love” seeks to create unity and promote kindness in the Baptist Housing community of senior residents and staff.
